SPARC stands for Sustainable Project And Research Challenge, and at its heart lies one key message: sustainability. The themes for SPARC 3.0 have been carefully chosen to connect with issues faced in modern society, while still being relatable and inspiring.

We have a total of four themes to choose from. These themes are not isolated—they are deeply interconnected.

Each theme highlights a different part of life—energy, nature, cities, and health—but all point back to sustainability. Cleaner energy reduces pollution, which keeps nature healthier. Inclusive cities improve wellbeing for everyone. Better health for all ensures that the benefits of sustainability reach every person, not just a few.

Through SPARC 3.0, students will learn that sustainability is not one idea but a way of living—where science and technology are used to protect people, the planet, and fairness in society.
